ACBF

Code of Conduct

As we prepare for the first Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest (ACBF) in 2026, it is essential that we familiarize ourselves with the guidelines that shape our community. This Code of Conduct outlines the essential policies and procedures for ACBF 2026, to ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all participants, whether they are volunteers, partners, or other collaborating parties.

1. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

At ACBF, diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just principles—they are our guiding principles. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels respected and valued. In our pursuit of diversity, we focus on aspects such as gender identity, nationality, ethnic background, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, and pregnancy.

Our commitment extends to promoting dignity, respect, and a workplace where individual differences are not only recognized but also celebrated. Discrimination has no place here, whether in compensation, benefits, employment conditions, or any other aspect of our business operations.

2. Harassment and bullying

ACBF is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and bullying, which we consider to be forms of discrimination. We define harassment based on various factors, including sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnic background, religion, age, and disability.

Anyone found guilty of harassment will be subject to corrective and/or disciplinary measures. Harassment will not be tolerated, and those responsible will be held accountable, regardless of their position within ACBF.

3. ACBF-meldingsprocedure

For ACBF 2026, we have established a reporting procedure to encourage volunteers to voice their concerns or complaints regarding our policies on diversity, equity, inclusion, and harassment. Volunteers can report complaints, including but not limited to harassment and bullying, health and safety, management and security, and the conduct of brewers, guests, and staff.

Volunteers may contact their volunteer coordinator, a Safe Space representative, or the ACBF organization to file a complaint. Individuals against whom allegations are made have the right to respond, and we are committed to maintaining a fair and impartial complaint procedure, ensuring confidentiality, and resolving complaints promptly.‍
We look forward to making ACBF 2026 an unforgettable and respectful experience for everyone!
