Behind the festival is Remco van Staveren, organizer of ACBF. What began as a quest to discover new styles and breweries grew into a deep passion.

Remco has been organizing beer festivals since 2018 and previously owned three beer shops. Over the years, he has visited countless breweries and tastings both at home and abroad. He is also the chairman of Bierconnaisseurs Noord-Holland. Beyond beer, Remco enjoys discovering new bars, cafés, and restaurants with friends. That curiosity and love for hospitality are reflected in the atmosphere and selection of the festival.


Since 2019, Remco has been working closely with Reinoud Schoon. With his years of experience in the facilities and logistics world, Reinoud ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. A true go-getter and just as important to the festival as what flows from the taps.
